Kristen Connelly was born and raised in the Toledo area into a family with strong ties to the area.  Kristen attended the University of Colorado graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science in 1994.   Ms. Connelly returned to Toledo where she graduated from law school in 1998.  Thereafter, she was admitted to the Bar of Ohio and United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio in 1998.

Since becoming licensed, Kristen has continuously practiced in civil litigation and trial work.  She has worked with an emphasis in the areas of medical malpractice, professional negligence and general litigation defense.  Over the years, Ms. Connelly has defended hospitals, physicians, nurses and other health care professionals in negligence actions and before the Ohio State Medical and Dental Boards. However, Kristen’s practice extends beyond medical matters. She has also had extensive experience in general litigation involving civil rights, health care, premises liability, contracts, and employment matters. Beyond the trial work, Kristen has, and continues to be, actively involved with written and oral appellate work briefing and arguing matters for numerous courts of appeal and the Ohio Supreme Court.  

Kristen is often contacted by clients to advise them on legal issues providing proactive advice. She has also spoken, repeatedly, on legal issues in Northwest Ohio. She is a member of the Ohio Hospital Association, Society of Health care Attorneys. Kristen is also an active member of the Toledo Bar Association and Ohio State Bar Association.
